I have been working on a print where the design is really big. I print it out on ink jet transparencys. Because its so big it prints out in 4 different peices, so i have to attach them together some way. Iv been using clear tape, which in the beginning worked just fine. But now the edges of the tape come through and it basically completely fucks up the entire screen. Im wondering how the pros deal with this problem? do you use some kind of glue? please clue me in because i am getting really frustrated! thanks in advance

Re: HOW DO YOU ATTACH ACETATES TOGETHER?
Tue, December 23, 2008 - 11:30 AMi used clear tape, and i never skimped, always 3M. luckily, i dont have such concerns these days because i finally made the investment in a wide profile Epson printer, which is my actual suggestion. if you have enough to afford it, its well worth the price. you can pick them up for a little over $200.

OW DO YOU ATTACH ACETATES TOGETHER?
Tue, January 20, 2009 - 7:37 AMclear tape works well, i would guess that you are underexposing your screens if clear tape is showing up on the screen, try burning for 10%-20% longer.
professionals either have wide format printers, or send their art out to a film company to be printed. getting your own wide format 13 x 19 inkjet printer is not really that expensive, if you do alot of printing.
