Pardon the cross posts, I need to figure this out ASAP:
I'm looking for advice on what type of paper to use for screen printing street posters. I need paper that can won't warp or ripple too much from the moisture content of the ink. Budget is also a concern as well, so something affordable is a must. Thanks!

Re: Screen printing posters
Mon, February 12, 2007 - 3:20 PMAre you going to be using wheatpaste to hang these posters? I've found using thin cheap paper is best...sicks good and is easy to print on. Sorry no bandnames to pass on, I've always just used whaterver was around at the time... good luck with your project.

Mon, February 12, 2007 - 3:32 PMThe wheat paste didn't make the poster warp more? The cheap paper we used to do some test runs warped too much. We'll most likely staple the posters up. -

Mon, February 12, 2007 - 9:09 PMWheat paste is the way to go if you want the posters to stay up... make a thick paste and apply a thin coat. Posters will warp a little at first, smooth them out and they will flatten as they dry. I have posters around town that have been up for over a year now.
