I know this has come up before, but I couldn't find any previous threads so here it goes. After you apply you emulsion how do you position your screen for proper drying? I had good luck last time I did it, but to be honest, I can't remember what I did. Do you lay your screen flat, stand it on edge, or lean it at an angle against something? Does this even matter? I'm wondering if one technique works better than the others in regard to avoiding drips or sagging in the emulsion (yes, I know a lot of these issues can be avoided by applying the emulsion sparingly).

Re: Drying your screen...
Fri, January 12, 2007 - 1:20 PMWhat I like to do is lay my screen flat..on the stretcherbar side-of course..inside a cardboard box with a small fan pointed at the screen...under a heavy quilt so that no light gets in.
With this setup the screen dries in a little over an hour. -

Re: Drying your screen...
Wed, January 17, 2007 - 10:22 AMYou wand the side that you will squeegee UP, you want that to settle the flattest, and any imperfections (drips, runs, whatever) on the side that will hit the substraight. So, print side down elevated and NOT stacked (unless you are perfect in your emulsion application). That's how I rock it. -
